Description
The Pilz PSENopt Slim safety light curtain provides cascading capability and no dead zone to protect fingers by detecting opaque objects measuring 14 mm. The device includes a pair of emitter and receiver, has a slim design and complies with SIL3/ESPE Type4 / PL.e/Cat4 standards. The PSEN op4F-SL -14-108/1 model provides a protective height of 1080 mm (108 beams with a beam distance of 14 mm and an infrared LED (IR) with a wavelength of 850 nm). The operating range is 0.2–6 m, and the power supply is provided from a voltage of 19.2–28.8 V DC (nominal value 24 V DC). The device is equipped with 2 digital outputs (500mA) (OSSD receiver outputs) and M12 connectors: 5-pin for the emitter and 5-pin for the receiver. The housing is made of aluminum, has a degree of protection of IP65 and is designed for use in an environment from 0 to +55°C.
