Description

Omron’s CJ1 series interface modules support two main field-level networks: PROFIBUS-DP and DeviceNet. They are compatible with programmable logic controllers of the same family, which ensures the choice of an effective solution for automatic systems of various scales. To quickly exchange I/O data, Omron has developed its own network called CompoBus/S. This protocol is easy to install and configure. Using CAN-based and serial interface networks that are open for configuration, the user can independently implement additional special-purpose protocols. EtherNet/IP modules are designed for high-speed exchange of a large amount of data between several programmable controllers through tables of logical connections over an Ethernet/IP network. The new PROFINET-IO controller in combination with the SmartSlice modular I/O system opens up the possibility of implementing remote I/O data exchange with the network and controller redundancy function.
